The Golf Course

Redlibbets was designed and built in the 1990s on a naturally free-draining site and has all the benefits of modern construction methods with USGA specification greens, tees and approaches and a fully automated irrigation system.

The owners pride themselves, as golfers of ability, on the presentation of the course. The par-72 design measures 6,572 yards from the back tees, but can play shorter as each hole benefits from three sets of tees. The parkland course boasts mature beech, oak and chestnut trees which creates the backdrop to this beautiful course. In terms of playability, the holes vary significantly with length from the tee being a benefit on the par-5s, but there is no substitute for accuracy!

“Our three groups thoroughly enjoyed our rounds yesterday and were all very complimentary about the course, the breakfast, the friendly staff and the COVID precautions. The most common phrase was "how come we've never played here before" so I guess we'll be back soon.”

“A beautiful course for all handicappers... very testing in places and forgiving in others. The tenth hole is very strategic hole. Staff always pleasant and polite I would highly recommend a visit ”

“I would just like to thank you and your staff for a wonderful day out yesterday. Your course is in tip-top condition and your staff couldn’t do enough; they were so friendly and welcoming. That’s why we have booked our golf society on the 8th August and I will be telling all my mates how good your golf course is. 10 out of 10! You should all give yourself a pat on the back. Once again I thank you. ”

“I thought the course was in excellent condition today and thoroughly enjoyed a round with one one of colleagues. Until November 18', I managed the South of England American Golf business and as you’ll appreciate played many a course around the country. I truly thought that today’s game, the condition of the course and the layout was probably one of the best value rounds I have ever had.”
